Hugh Virgo of House of Prayer Christian Church Testimony

Pastor Virgo of HOPCC served in the United States Army for several years as a Heavy Wheel mechanic with dreams of one day owning his own semi-truck mechanic shop back in his home state of New York. While serving in the Army, however, he gave his life to Christ in a revival movement that brought him to where he is today. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you…” [ESV] The Lord called him into the ministry, and he gladly answered that call surrendering his worldly dreams for a Heavenly calling. Pastor Hugh Virgo of House of Prayer Christian Church has been with this nationally recognized church since its founding in 2004. Pastor Virgo has pastored in the Tacoma-Lakewood area of Washington State. He teaches the Word of God and has also traveled the country praying and reaching out to lost souls while stopping to preach revival services along the way. Pastor Virgo has been happily married to his wife, Majorca Virgo, for close to thirty years. Through the years, they have seen a lot of faces and have seen many a soul reached in their co-laboring for the glory of God. Hugh and Majorca Virgo have experienced many hardships through the years and have endured their share of afflictions, but with resilience are resolved to finish their course through the love of God.

Pastor Hugh Virgo of House of Prayer Christian Church continues to serve the Lord in Killeen, TX, and looks forward to every new challenge that may come along while pastoring there. The years of tireless service have seasoned Pastor Virgo with grace and compassion for all who will come through the church doors seeking God’s rest. Furthermore, Pastor Virgo is thankful to be a part of a revival movement that has helped him become more Christ-like and grow in his faith and love for God and people. The Bible says in Ephesians 4:15-16, “…speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” [NIV]
