Ministries in Texas is glad to present Pastor Jack Graham of the Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. Jack Graham was born on June 30, 1950, in Arkansas. As a child, he was baptized and professed believer in Jesus Christ’s as he grew older, he accepted the call of God into the ministry. In 1970 at the age of 20, he was ordained a pastor at the Sagamore Hill Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. While serving as the pastor, he received a Doctor of Ministry degree in “church and proclamation.”
In 1989 Pastor Jack Graham took over the pastorate for the Prestonwood Baptist Church, which was in Dallas, Texas. As the church membership grew, the church location moved to a 140-acre property in Plano, Texas, in 1999. But, the growth did not stop there. The Prestonwood Baptist Church has continued to grow and become a lighthouse not only to the state of Texas but to America.
Pastor Jack Graham has served two terms as president of the Southern Baptist Convention. He has also served as the honorary chairman of the 2015 National Day of Prayer. In addition, he has been on religious advisory councils for presidents and participated in National Prayer services at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington DC.
